Sam’s Club’s corporate supply chain team plans to merge with the supply chain team of parent company Walmart, according to a memo obtained by Business Insider David Guggina, head of supply chain operations for Walmart, wrote the memo, which was sent to the Sam’s Club supply chain team.

US superstore Walmart's Sam's Club announced on Tuesday that it would raise average hourly wages for nearly 100,000 of its workers. The change comes as part of a new employee compensation plan that will come into effect ahead of the holiday season rush.

Walmart's Holiday Deals event starts on the same day as Amazon's October Prime Day sale​ but lasts even longer.

Amazon has held a second Prime Day of sorts in October and that sale event is coming back this year, too. Prime Big Deal Days returns on October 8 and 9, but we’re already starting to see some decent deals pop up across Amazon’s site.
