Former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen suggested that the U.S. should focus on helping Ukraine before it prioritizes Taiwan in her keynote speech during the annual summit of the Halifax International Security Forum,

"A Ukrainian victory will serve as the most effective deterrent to future aggression," former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen said during the Halifax International Security Forum on Nov. 23.

Tsai Ing-wen’s comments come after a top U.S. military leader said supplying U.S. weapons to Kyiv was cutting into stockpiles that could be used in a war in Asia.
