A slow-moving cold front pushed strong storms into the Houston area overnight Monday, dipping temperatures into the 60s and drenching the region with rain. The system is poised to flush out into the Gulf of Mexico by 8 a.m. CT., and from there, could stall and pepper Harris County with isolated storms in the coming days.
