President Joe Biden’s administration plans one additional round of restrictions on the export of artificial intelligence chips from the likes of Nvidia Corp. just days before leaving office, a final push in his effort to keep advanced technologies out of the hands of China and Russia.

As the Biden administration approaches the end of its mandate, the package – which includes F-16 equipment and bridging systems – comes as a last ditch effort to bolster Ukraine’s forces.

Outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden said on Jan. 10 he did all he could to help Ukraine and voiced hope that U.S. support will continue even after he leaves office.
