Forecasters say Milton is expected to be a hurricane small in size, but Jacksonville will still be impacted with rain, flooding and high winds.

Tropical Storm Milton is expected to become a hurricane on Sunday, and a major hurricane by midweek, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Florida officials are preparing for the largest storm evacuation in years, as most counties are issued a state of emergency. Milton was about 800 miles off of Florida's west coast on Sunday afternoon.
