FRANKFORT, Ky. (WAVE) - Kentucky State Police are searching for a man after they said he shot and killed his son during an argument. On Saturday, Nov. 9, KSP responded to the area of Flat Creek Road around 10 p.m. When they arrived, they found Justin Girtley, 36, shot. Girtley died before he could be taken to the hospital.

Kentucky State Police are looking for a 60-year-old Franklin County man as part of a murder investigation. According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Steven Girtley was last seen leaving Flat Creek Road wearing camouflage clothing.
