The Heisman Trophy presentation is less than a month away, making the final few weeks of the season pivotal for those at the top of the competition. It appears that Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Miami quarterback Cam Ward, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter lead the conversation at this time.

Heisman voters often prefer to see the player they will be voting for, so teams that play high-profile, primetime games typically get more attention. It’s especially important for Heisman candidates to get TV exposure in October and November when the race is being decided.

Winners of the Heisman include many who have gone on to great NFL careers including Roger Staubach (Navy - 1963), Tony Dorsett (Pitt – 1976), Herschel Walker (Georgia – 1982), and Lamar Jackson (Louisville – 2016).

The updated FanDuel odds give two-way superstar Travis Hunter the best odds to win the Heisman Trophy award. He's been given +120 odds, topping Oregon star quarterback Dillon Gabriel.

According to the books, Dillon Gabriel has the second-best odds to win the Heisman at +360. Ashton Jeanty is also at +360, and Travis Hunter is at -115.
