A sculpture bought for just £5 ($6.43) and used as a doorstop could sell for more than £2.5 million ($3.2 million) after a court gave the green light for its sale.

The Invergordon Common Good Fund owns the bust, which was purchased in 1930 for about $6.35. Now, the historical bust could sell for $3.1 million.

The artwork disappeared for decades — until an eagle-eyed person spotted it in 1998 propping open the door of a shed in a Scottish village.
