Donald Trump's recent victory is likely to see looming tariffs on China — but it may not be the only country subject to tariffs, according to Goldman Sachs.

Trump, who won a resounding victory on Tuesday, has threatened 60% tariffs on goods coming into the U.S. from China, much higher than the levies of 7.5% to 25% he imposed in his first term, a major risk for the world's second-largest economy.

Donald Trump is preparing to implement the most extensive tariffs in a century, and some of these tariffs are intended to serve as bargaining chips in trade negotiations, writes "The Washington Post." The newspaper adds that the introduction of a universal basic tariff is unlikely.
