NFL insider James Palmer discussed free agency on a recent episode of NFL Insider Notebook. He talked about the current situation with Tee Higgins, and there seems to be a lot of positive buzz regarding a return to Cincinnati.

The numbers weren’t shocking by any means and left those doing the reporting with plenty of outs. Higgins could make roughly $28 million per year in average annual value (AAV), a top-10 mark for wideouts — but it could go well over $30 million AAV if a bidding war starts.

A few big-ticket free-agent names have been thrown around from Broncos Country, with the biggest being Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins. Higgins put on a show against the Broncos in Week 17, racking up 131 yards and three touchdowns, demolishing the secondary.

After the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles duke it out for a Lombardi Trophy, the NFL will fully transition into the offseason. Already, we have teams making preparations for the upcoming 2025 campaign and formulating a plan for how they'll retool their rosters in order to make a deep playoff push.
