Jay-Z filed a lawsuit Monday against big-name Houston attorney Tony Buzbee and a woman who previously accused the hip-hop artist and Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping her when she was 13 years old in 2000.

The lawsuit also names the woman’s attorneys and claims the defendants made “malevolent efforts to assassinate” Jay-Z’s character in a complaint they later withdrew.

Jay-Z is looking to restore his "impeccable and lifetime-earned character" with a new lawsuit against an anonymous woman who'd claimed in a since-dismissed civil suit that he and Sean "Diddy" Combs sexually assaulted her as a teenager more than two decades ago.
