Ravichandran Ashwin said that he took cue from Rishabh Pant's batting and went hard at Bangladesh bowlers to rescue India with a splendid century on Day 1 of the first Test against Bangladesh.

The allrounder took 108 deliveries to reach the milestone, peppering in 10 fours and 2 sixes in the innings as Bangladesh were clueless on how to handle the duo.
