The New York Giants claimed linebacker Patrick Johnson off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles this week. A 2021 seventh-round pick by the Eagles, this was Johnson’s fourth season in Philly. So, to learn a bit more about him,

The Eagles now have their backup center on the active roster, as practice squad elevations to fill out the roster on game day have led to a transaction.

Philadelphia has also elevated receiver Parris Campbell and tight end E.J. Jenkins from the practice squad to the active roster for tonight’s game. Fellow receiver A.J. Brown is out for Week 2 with a hamstring injury. Campbell caught 20 passes for 104 yards in 12 games for the Giants last year.
