Sharks place Barclay Goodrow on injured reserve
The San Jose Sharks announced Thursday that they have placed veteran forward Barclay Goodrow on injured reserve. The Sharks also announced they have recalled Ethan Cardwell from the Sharks’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate the San Jose Barracuda.

The San Jose Sharks placed Barclay Goodrow on injured reserve and have recalled Ethan Cardwell. Goodrow left last night's game against the Ottawa Senators in the first period with an upper-body injury and didn't return. Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky did not have an update on the forward's status after the game.
