Met Office issues yellow wind warning as wild weather to spark power cuts and travel chaos in London - At least three deaths on British roads with more than 200 flood alerts in place

The Met Office has issued a fresh weather update as Britain gets battered by 385 flood warnings after 10 people were rescued from a landslide in North Wales. The UK's national weather service issued six weather warnings - stretching from North West Scotland to the South East of England - after days of sub-zero temperatures brought snowfall to parts of the country.

A number of weather warnings are in place today, with the Met Office predicting flooding and strong wind gusts. A "multi-hazard event" caused chaos and travel disruption yesterday.
