Eight firefighters were injured when the fire truck they were driving in rolled over as it returned from battling the Airport Fire wildfire in Southern California.

All eight passengers in a firefighting vehicle that overturned were evacuated by helicopter, with six sustaining severe injuries.

An Orange County Fire Authority vehicle flipped over on the 241 Freeway. Helicopters had to land on the freeway to airlift patients to the hospital.
