Iga Swiatek took a huge step in her bid to finally conquer grass as she cruised to a dominant win over Belinda Bencic to reach her first Wimbledon final.

Bencic was able to outlast Mirra Andreeva in two tiebreakers in the quarterfinals, but the Russian only broke serve once in that match, which is not a luxury Bencic will be able to rely on against Swiatek, who is one of the best defensive players in the sport.

Belinda Bencic very honestly stated that Iga Swiatek didn't allow her to get into their Wimbledon match "for just one second" and therefore she had no regrets because her rival was simply too perfect in every department.

Iga Swiatek dominated Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-0, reaching her first Wimbledon final. She called it a dream and expressed pride after her victory.
