Organisers of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay have announced that Scottish rockers Texas will make it a hat-trick when they headline the Concert in the Gardens on Tuesday, December 31.

Texas have been unveiled as the headliners for this year's Hogmanay concert in Edinburgh. The band are returning to the world-famous event for the third time, having last performed at the event in 2005. The band announced their new year slot on stage on Sunday night in Glasgow.

The group announced their Hogmanay headline slot live on stage during a sold-out show at the Glasgow Hydro on Sunday night.

Texas will headline Edinburgh Hogmanay for the first time in close to 20 years, as they become the first act ever to do so three times.

Edinburgh’s Hogmanay concert is set to be a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration with Texas as the headliners. The Scottish band, known for their iconic hits, will return to the world-famous event for the third time, having last performed there in 2005.
