It seems as if Arrowhead has finally gotten the message, that Helldivers 2 players are tired of feeling weak and want more diversity in what loadouts they can use.

Helldivers 2's latest patch has, pretty comprehensively, overhauled the game's approach to difficulty, weapon balancing, and loadout variety—and it looks like it's working out pretty well for ol' Arrowhead.

Helldivers 2's player count triples post-update, reaching 68k. The patch buffed weapons, nerfed enemies, and overall made for a better player experience. Arrowhead's approach to player-dev communication is both welcome and innovative.
