A Norwegian bunker and tanker company has prompted a government response after saying it would boycott US naval ships following Friday’s ill-tempered White House meeting between US and Ukrainian presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Norwegian fuel supplier Haltbakk Bunkers will not deliver a "single liter" of fuel to the U.S. Navy until U.S. President Donald Trump "is gone," the company's owner told media outlet Kystens Noeringsliv on March 1 after Trump's highly public dispute with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Norway's Defense Minister Tore Sandvik later issued a statement assuring that the NATO country would continue to supply the US.
