May 5 is Cinco de Mayo and while there are celebrations happening across the Houston-area, some cities have canceled their celebrations due to immigration crackdown. FOX's Doug Luzader reports on the story.

Cinco De Mayo commemorates the anniversary of Mexico’s victory against the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. During the battle, Mexican forces were outnumbered 2,000 to 6,000 against the French, according to previous Houston Chronicle reporting.

Houston is gearing up for Cinco de Mayo with numerous venues offering festivities, food, and drink specials. Celebrations include mariachi music, specialty cocktails, and themed events across the city.
