Hamas official said Wednesday the group is ready for a "complete end to the war" after President Donald Trump announced a 60-day proposal, including partial Israeli withdrawal and hostage releases.

A Hamas delegation is expected to meet with Egyptian and Qatari mediators in Cairo on Wednesday to discuss the proposal, according to an Egyptian official.

The U.S. President said Israel “agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize” a 60-day ceasefire, “during which time we will work with all parties to end the war.”
