California's Prop 32, Minimum wage: Live 2024 election results
CALIFORNIA, USA — On Nov. 5, 2024, Californians will vote on several statewide ballot propositions, each one carrying impacts on laws or taxes across the state. Proposition 32 would raise the minimum wage to $17 for the remainder of 2024, and $18 an hour starting in January 2025 — a bump from the current $16.

Proposition 4 would authorize $10 billion in general obligation bonds for safe drinking water, wildfire prevention, and protecting communities and natural lands from climate risks, increasing state costs of about $400 million annually for 40 years to repay the bond. NBCLA's Conan Nolan explains.
California Proposition 32 Election Results: Raise Minimum Wage
This proposition would immediately increase the rate to $17 an hour, and then to $18 an hour on Jan. 1, 2025, for workplaces with 26 or more employees. For smaller employers, the rate would increase to $17 on Jan. 1, 2025, and then to $18 on Jan. 1, 2026.
