- The Bruins inked Elias Lindholm to a seven-year deal in the offseason. The centerman has 10 points (3G, 7A) in his first 22 games as a Bruin. Nikita Zadorov also came over from the Canucks, signing a six-year deal with the Bruins. The 29-year-old defenseman has five assists through 23 games this season.

While the Bruins may sit a tad higher in the standings, the advantage goes to the Islanders on Wednesday night, given that they host a team that just got shut out 2-0 by the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night. The Bruins have only had one back-to-back this season and are 1-0.

As is usually tradition, the New York Islanders will play a home game tonight, Thanksgiving Eve. This year, they face the Boston Bruins, who will play just their fourth game under the stewardship of former Weird Islander Joe Sacco.
