The number of people detained by police in Aurora is growing after an alleged overnight home invasion and kidnapping at an apartment building in the Colorado city. Police believe most of the suspects are Venezuelan migrants but they are unsure if they're part of a notorious gang.

Police on Tuesday said several suspects broke into an apartment in the complex early that morning and took the two people inside to another apartment, threatened them and tied them up.

Police detained at least a dozen undocumented immigrants in a home invasion and kidnapping investigation. This happened at the Edge at Lowry Apartments along Dallas Street. It's the same complex that gained national attention earlier this year when armed suspects were caught on camera threatening residents.
