With three home games in eight days, this was a chance for Notre Dame basketball to make a statement and make a move in the Atlantic Coast Conference

Notre Dame has lost four of the five games it has played so far in February. The most recent of those games was a 15-point loss to Louisville at Purcell Pavilion in which Cardinals fans outnumbered Irish fans.

Micah Shrewsberry stepped up to the post-game media table to take questions following Notre Dame’s 75-60 home loss to the Louisville Cardinals, and pretty quickly made a scene in a two and a half minute rant that felt out of place — and even a little unhinged.
