Great shorelines, beautiful lakes, quaint towns, mediocre beaches, great history. Stayed at private home adjacent a pond with canoeing and kayaking and cycling. Full review by Nelson M

Don't know if it is still relevant but the museum is a reasonable walking distance from the Marriott. I would estimate 10-12 blocks, mostly uphill.

Yes - plenty of free parking at the Bellevue Gardens Shopping Centre across the road & at the Stop & Shop supermarket / liquor store / Italian restaurant etc next door.
