I think we were about 3 hours. It depends on how much time you would want to devote to it on an emotional level too but I’d say the tower is about 30 minutes. The museum is about an hour. The overlook and walking the wall and crash site area was about an hour. And things are spaced out so there’s extra time to get to each place. That’s my estimation at least. Hope it helps!

Had dinner at the "PINE GRILL,at he suggestion of the Motel clerk and was more than satisfied with quality and quantity.(800 N. Center Av) Exit #110 off the PA Turnpike. I am from Delaware ,not a local. ALSO there is NO FEE to visit the Memorial
Considering stopping on our road trip home for the holidays. About how long would it take to quickly view everything in the visitor center? We have a 1, 4, & 7 year old so I think it’s best they just view the outdoor part-but wondering if my husband and I could switch off and seee everything in a reasonable time?

I think you can see the visitor center within an hour, it’s a driving experience for those who remember but for the children it’s a chance to get out of the car and see the beautiful terrain of western Pa. I would think the children could have a learning experience. If you’re close it would be a must to see.
