The project is developed and owned by Cleantech Global Renewables. Bulacan Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 228,700 square meters. The project generates 20,409MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 10,000 households, offsetting 12,510t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Now called BulacanSol, the newly completed power station now provides clean and renewable power to the Luzon grid. Located in San Miguel, Bulacan, the P4.25-billion project is a joint undertaking of MGen Renewable Energy, Inc. (MGreen), which owns 60% of the project; and PowerSource Energy Holdings Corp., with 40%.

BulacanSol is just the first of a 1,500-MW renewables portfolio that the company plans to build. The project is a sprawling array of photovoltaic panels in a 72-hectare property, which aims to generate enough electricity to contribute power to Luzon.
